Date: 05/17/2019 <br />Manufacturer training: VMI, 06/28/19; Veeder Root Level 4, 04/19/19; ISD, 12/10/19 <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />On site to observe sensor functionality of the underground storage tank (UST) system and ISD program functionality. A copy of <br />the alarm history and alarm setup was printed prior to performing a cold start and provided to EHD. All sensor functionality was <br />tested and all passed. <br />Observed a leak detector test to confirm that the device can detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. 91 product leak <br />detector test passed. 87 product leak detector failed at initial testing. The 87 leak detector was replaced during the inspection. <br />The 87 leak detector test passed. <br />Observed and verify minimum 5 gallon capacity on the 87 fill and vapor spill containments and the 91 fill and vapor spill <br />containments for one hour hydrostatic test. All spill containments passed. <br />Observed dispenser footprints contained by all the UDC sumps and verified that all potential product piping leaks will be <br />contained in all the UDCs. Visually inspected the piping within the dispensers for any product Ieaks.Bravo deflector plates were <br />observed in all UDCs and verified that they were installed per manufacturer's guidelines. Verified that all potential leaks will be <br />contained in all the UDCs. <br />Zane Nimmo: Service Technician 6/2/2019, Veeder Root 7/25/2018, tank tester 3/31/2019, Petro Tight 2/16/2020 <br />Observed and witness a primary piping test on the 87 and 91 product lines. The lines were pressurized at 60 psi and held <br />for 45 minutes. The tests passed. <br />Note: Immediately revise and amend the service request to include the Bravo deflector plates on all UDCs and the <br />replacement of the electronic line leak detector in the 87 STP sump. Submit for approval before the final inspection. <br />Note: Provide lab analytical/determination for disposal before final inspection. <br />Additional inspections are still required before facility can operate the underground storage tanks. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
