Lodi, CA 95242 <br />DIRECTOR <br />Donna Heran, REHS <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Kasey Foley, REHS <br />Linda Turkatte, REHS <br />SR0062195 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br />the permit application to perform the following: <br />- Convert existing diesel underground storage tanks(UST) to gasoline UST's. <br />- Install a new siphon line between UST #3 and #4. <br />- Install Red Jacket mechanical line leak detectors on the converted gasoline UST #2. <br />- Remove existing diesel lines that will not be used after the conversion of the UST's. <br />- Excavate to the top of the existing diesel UST's <br />- Re -pipe converted UST's to the existing gasoline product lines. <br />- Install fill sumps and non -direct bury spill containers and vapor buckets at existing <br />UST's. <br />- Install new transition sumps and double wall diesel product lines underground for the <br />new diesel above ground storage tanks(AST). <br />- Installation of three 20,000 gallon double wall above ground steel tanks and ancillary <br />equipment. <br />- Connect new diesel AST system to the existing diesel product lines. <br />- Installation of a 4,000 gallon oil/water separator. <br />- Installation of an 8,000 gallon underground storage tank for diesel exhaust fluid. <br />The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br />1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Aris Cacapit at (209) 468-3453 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that <br />inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br />a. Check slope of new product lines to verify 1/8 in per foot. <br />b. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating <br />pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br />
