40 40
GEOSYNPEC CONSULTANTS
Ms. Amy Terrell
14 April 2003
Page 2
■ Delete "emanating from the property and" from the second sentence in the
second paragraph of the first page.
■ Change "abandonment" to "destruction" in the first sentence of the third
paragraph on the first page.
■ For the remediation pilot study testing (summarized on page 2 of the draft
MRP), MW-4 and MW-5 are analyzed annually in the first quarter for the suite
of bioremediation analyses. We would like the annual sampling of these wells
to occur in third quarter of each year, to correspond with anniversary of HRC
injection(June 2002).
■ WFS presently posts detected chemical concentrations on the quarterly
groundwater elevation contour maps. We prefer to continue that data
presentation and not include isoconcentration contour maps as described in Item
(d) of the Semi-Annual Reporting Section. These isoconcentration contour
maps have not been found to be helpful to evaluate conditions at similar sites.
■ Remove requirement for isoconcentration contour maps from Item (b) of the
Annual Reporting Section. WFS agrees to post all chemical detections on
groundwater elevation contour maps.
RESPONSE TO SITE STATUS MEMORANDUM
Included in the RWQCB's 5 March 2003 letter was a site status memorandum. The
memorandum included several comments and action items for the site, which are
summarized and addressed in the table below.
P:\PRJ2003REM\WFS\VER\Terre11 RTC 4 2003.doc
