In accordance with WCC policy and standard <br /> industry practice, a health and safety plan will be prepared and approved <br /> prior to the initiation of field activities. The purpose of this plan is <br /> to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in field <br /> activities. <br /> Underground Utilities. Assistance from a WFS employee will be required <br /> prior to the initiation of drilling to identify the location of any under- <br /> ground or other obstructions. A utility location firm will be ained to <br /> locate underground utilities if WFS personnel are unable to provide such <br /> information. In addition, assistance from a WFS employee will be required <br /> to identify the exact location of the dry wells. <br /> Offsite Access. Sample locations S13 and S15 are located beyond the site <br /> fence line. If these locations are determined to be beyond WFS property <br /> boundaries, permission from the property owners will be needed to drill in <br /> these areas. <br /> Drilling Permits. The San Joaquin County Department of Environmental <br /> Health has issued the following requirements for drilling activities within <br /> the county: <br /> • Permits issued by the Department are required for all borings. <br /> • A release form must be signed by WFS authorizing release of chemical <br /> analysis data to the Department. <br /> 3-9 <br />
