C. Hazard Evaluation Version :27.10.4 <br /> Automated Detection Systems <br /> • Product tanks are equipped with a two-stage level alarm system to help prevent tank <br /> overfills. High level alarms and "High-High" level alarms will alert terminal personnel to <br /> any potential upset condition. The high-high level alarm notifies pipeline to begin <br /> immediate or emergency shutdown. <br /> • Loading rack is bottom loading type with interlocks for setting brakes on tank vehicles. <br /> Hose must be disconnected before brakes are released. <br /> . The truck loading racks all have overfill protection devices. Each truck compartment <br /> has a liquid level sensor that gives a signal to stop flow if it detects overfill. In the event <br /> of a spill, the truck operators are instructed to immediately notify the Shell Operator on <br /> duty. For spills after hours, truck operators are instructed to immediately call the Shell <br /> Operator on call, phone numbers are posted in the BOL room. <br /> Plan Implementation: <br /> • For individual response scenarios refer to Section 3.3. <br /> .
