All permits required to transport or dispose of recovered materials will be obtained by the <br /> organizations contracted for transportation or disposal. Wastes transported off-site will comply with <br /> the applicable DOT regulations including: <br /> • Proper packaging to prevent leakage during normal transport conditions and potentially <br /> dangerous situations. <br /> • Labeling, marking, and placarding of the packaged waste to identify the characteristics and <br /> dangers associated with its transport. <br /> TABLE 1 <br /> TEMPORARY STORAGE METHODS (EXAMPLES) <br /> ===M= <br /> Barrels x x x x May require handling <br /> devices.
