Summary <br /> This position will support the EH&S team in the development, implementation, <br /> monitoring and continuous improvement of Premier's Environmental Health and Safety <br /> programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements. <br /> II. General Responsibilities <br /> • Practice safe working techniques and re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and <br /> procedures as set out by the company. Set the example. <br /> • Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee/supervisor level <br /> to ensure a common and effective approach. <br /> • Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis. <br /> • Maintain relevant logs and documentation. <br /> • Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors. <br /> • Responsible for the training of relevant personnel. <br /> • Ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized <br /> and corrected. <br /> • Maintain the Site Preparedness and Emergency Plans and Procedures. <br /> • Maintain positive working relationships with Regulatory Agencies, employees, <br /> managers and customers. <br /> • Chair or co-chair the Safety committee. <br /> ® Walk the manufacturing floor on a regular basis to establish presence and provide <br /> support. <br /> • Write, implement, and manage HSE Programs, Policies, and Procedures. <br /> • Perform facility inspections. <br /> • Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE. <br /> • Have knowledge and enforce compliance of Regulatory requirements (i.e. OSHA, Cal <br /> OSHA,EPA, SJAQD, City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, etc.) including company <br /> policies and procedures. <br /> j • Ability to oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency <br /> compliance (i.e. labeling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc.). <br /> i <br /> r <br /> Page 1 of 2 02/22/19Environmental& Safety Manager Job DescHealth and Safety <br /> Manager <br />
