Summary <br /> Perform chemtilm, clear chromate, gold alodine, and part stripping per Customer order. <br /> II. Primary Responsibilities <br /> 1. Check in with the Plant Foreman to see which job should be performed in order to meet <br /> Customer due dates. <br /> 2. Gather all safety supplies needed to operate the Chemical tanks. All safety supplies that are <br /> required for this position includes: (These MUST be worn at all times) <br /> A. Respirators <br /> B. Rubber Gloves <br /> C. Aprons <br /> D. Safety Glasses <br /> E. Ear Plugs are recommended only if there is high pitch sound while blowing of parts <br /> with compresses air. <br /> 3. Open covers for each tank and check the temperatures for every tank. <br /> A. When checking the Deox and Alodine Tanks,make sure that the strength and <br /> temperatures meet the requirements from the Tank Line Procedures. <br /> 4. Using a rake, stir the chemical tanks to dilute the chemicals. <br /> 5. Pull the necessary job guide and retrieve parts that go with the job from the storage location. <br /> 6. Carefully place parts into crate and set the timers for each tank prior to starting a job. <br /> 7. Begin the process once the timer is set. <br /> 8. Once the process is complete,remove the crate from the tank line onto a pallet to be air-dried. <br /> 9. Hang parts onto racks to be blown off with air compressors. <br /> 10. Put all parts on a pallet and return it to its original location. <br /> 11. Properly storing or disposing of Hazardous Waste. <br /> III. Additional Responsibilities <br /> 1. Inform Tank Line Supervisor when a tank needs to be titrated. <br /> B. Titration needs to be done daily in order to ensure that chemicals will perform the <br /> necessary reaction. <br /> 2. Perform daily cleaning duties at the end of the shift. <br /> C. Clean tanks everyday at the end of the shift by scrubbing the chemical runs inside the <br /> tanks with regular rags. <br /> the tank.lids-.and-turn off the timer. ..._.... _ ........... —_.... _ <br /> E.
