Appropriate handling of <br /> these MRSH will include storage in appropriate containers, properly marked, labeled, <br /> and stored in accordance with applicable Universal Waste or hazardous waste <br /> requirements. <br /> The Contractor will remove the Refrigerants from the facility after each service call and <br /> assume responsibility for its disposition. The facility will properly store and dispose of <br /> the (a) used oil as hazardous waste; (b) Switches as Universal Wastes; and (c) PCB and <br /> the other Capacitors in accordance with TSCA and applicable California requirements. <br /> B. Technical Description <br /> Equipment Used in Removing and Managing MRSH <br /> A. Capacitors <br /> a. Removal Equipment: Reciprocating Saw <br /> b. Storage Containers: D.O.T approved containers/drums <br /> B. Refrigerants <br /> a. Removal Equipment: <br /> i. Pumps-microvac2/Promax RG5410 <br /> b. Storage Containers: appropriate gas cylinders <br /> C. Used Oil <br /> a. Removal Equipment: <br /> i. Pumps-Microvac2/Promax RG5410 <br /> b. Storage Containers: DOT Drums or appropriate above-ground storage <br /> tanks <br /> D. Switches <br /> a. Removal Equipment: Miscellaneous small tools <br /> b. Storage Containers: Plastic drum with Lid <br /> C. List of Training <br /> Provided to Personnel who participate in Removal and/or Managing of MRSH <br /> All facility personnel designated for removal or handling of MRSH from Appliances and <br /> their supervisors will be trained in the removal of Refrigerants, used oils, Switches and <br /> Capacitors, as appropriate for that type of Appliance. <br /> At a minimum, training will include all training required for the handling of applicable <br /> Universal Waste and hazardous waste and the handling of PCB small capacitors.
