On 07 September 2005,
18 waste soil drums from monitoring well installation were removed from site by Slaby
Environmental, Inc.
Samples were collected from the borings at discrete five-foot intervals.A total of ten soil samples
were analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbon products. The following target analytes were detected:
• TPH-g was detected in soil samples collected from borings MW 1 and MW2 at
concentrations of 1.5 mg/kg(MW1 at 35 feet bsg) and 1.0 mg/kg (MW2 at 50 feet bsg).
• Total xylenes were detected in soil samples collected from borings MW 1,MW2 and MW3
at concentrations of 0.086 mg/kg(MW 1 at 35 feet bsg),0.052 mg/kg(MW 1 at 45 feet bsg),
0.046 mg/kg (MW2 at 50 feet bsg), and 0.014 mg/kg(MW3 at 50 feet bsg).
No other constituents of concern were detected at or above laboratory detection limits in the samples
analyzed. On 10 October 2005 AGE published Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly
Monitoring Report which reported all monitoring well installation site activities, findings, and
Advanced GeoEnvironmental
