AGE received an EHD <br /> directive letter,dated 30 November 2005,approving continual quarterly ground water monitoring. <br /> QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING EVENTS <br /> Quarterly ground water monitoring commenced on 05 August 2005(third quarter). Utilizing site <br /> ground water monitoring wells, MW-1 through MW-3 the initial samples were analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA <br /> Methods 8015M; <br /> • Benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and total xylenes(BTEX)in accordance with EPA Method <br /> 8260B; and <br /> • Fuel additives di-isopropyl ether(DIPE),ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE),methyl tertiary- <br /> butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME), tertiary butanol (TBA), <br /> ethylene dibromide EDB in accordance with EPA <br /> 1,2-dlchloroethane (1,2-DCA) and ethy (EDB) <br /> Method 8260B. <br /> Above constituents of concern are to be reported as part.of the quarterly monitoring event analysis <br /> until an EHD approval letter providing a modified sampling schedule is received.Reported findings <br /> of historical and current quarterly ground water monitoring event analysis are documented on Table <br /> 2. On 10 October 2005, AGE published Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly Monitoring <br /> Report which reported all 2005 third quarterly monitoring site activities,findings,conclusions,and <br /> recommendations. <br /> Quarterly ground water monitoring continued on 04 November 2005(fourth quarter).Utilizing site <br /> ground water monitoring wells, MW-1 through MW-3: On 27 October 2006, AGE published <br /> Quarterly Report-Fourth Quarter 2005 which reported all 2005 fourth quarterly monitoring site <br /> j activities, findings, conclusions, and recommendations. <br /> i <br /> On 04 January 2006, 100 gallons of purge waste water from quarterly monitoring events was <br /> removed from site by American Valley Waste Oil, Inc. <br /> Quarterly ground water monitoring continued on 03 February 2006(first quarter). Utilizing site <br /> ground water monitoring wells,MW-1 through MW-3.The wells were"drowned"by the increase <br /> of the depth to water and a representative sample could not be collected. Quarterly ground water <br /> monitoring continued on 12 July 2006(second quarter).Utilizing site groundwater monitoring wells, <br /> I MW-1 through MW-3.
