Of the EPA 8010 analytes, only chloroform was detected above method
detection limit. Chloroform could be a microbial degradation product of carbon
tetrachloride which is normally used as a solvent in dry cleaning operations. No
VOCs were detected in the trip blank suggesting that there was no cross
contamination and supporting the integrity of the samples and the analytical results.
The results of the analyses are summarized in Table H.
TABLE II
SUMMARY OF GROUNDWATER
ANALYTICAL RESULTS
SAMPLE NUMBER DEPTH EPA METHOD 8010
(FEET)
VOC
(µg/l)
Bl-W 15 Chloroform - 1.6
B2-W 15 Chloroform - 2.2
B3-W 15 Chloroform - 3.3
B4-W 15 Chloroform - 1.4
B5-W 15 Chloroform - 0.89
CRC Environmental Risk Management, Inc.
