E-mail: Bus.Hrs:- (To avoid a No Access Charge o $35-please indpcate lunch hours if closed for lunch—we will always endeavor to work around vour lunch hour ifyou have posted herein) SERVICE &ACCESS -the "CUSTOMER"has retained BMS to remove from its business premise/s the Regulated Medical Waste—RMW; and then transport the RMW to a State approved Transfer-Station and/or Treatment Facility. The term"Regulated Medical Waste"— RMW as used herein, is defined in Chapter 6.1 of the California Health and Safety Code. The "CUSTOMER" shall readily provide BMS access to, and BMS shall remove from "CUSTOMER'S" premise/s,all RMW"properly prepared and ready"for pick-up. WHAT OSHA and the "MEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT" (MWMAI QUIRES OF THE "CUSTOMER" - the "CUSTOMER"is required to prepare the SHARPS collectors, red bags and storage container for pick-up. SHARPS collector lids should be secured by locking and/or taping shut, Red Bags should tied or taped closed to prevent leakage and lids should be snapped firmly shut on the storage containers. No Containers, Sharps Collectors or Red Bags will be picked up that are wet or leaking. If MORE THAN 201bs per month is generated at the site,Section 25081-d(1) of the Health and Safety Code states, `Bio Hazardous Waste shall NOT be contained or stored above 32 degrees Fahrenheit for more than 7 days". IF LESS THAN 201bs /per month is generated at the site in a month, 30 days storage is allowed.The"CUSTOMER"is responsible for properly securing the medical waste container/s and lid/s with all medical waste contained inside.There could be additional charges for overflow,should the"CUSTOMER"want the overflow removed at time visit. PLEASE INFORM YOUR STAFF THE MIXING OF PHARMACEUTICAL WITH SHARPS or RED-BAG WASTE — The "CUSTOMER" understands putting Pharmaceutical Waste into SHARPS or Red-Bag waste renders the mixed waste a RMW that is required to be destroyed through the incineration process. Pharmaceutical prices will apply to this mixed RMW. Pharmaceutical pricing is significantly higher (by over 2.5 times more) than red-bag/SHARPS Waste and requires a different type container as well—another additional cost.
