Decontamination and Disinfection: (Ca. health and safety code 119308 (b) and 119309 <br /> (a)(b)(c)(d)(e)) <br /> The Practitioner shall maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times. <br /> (1) Workstation surfaces/counter tops: All Solid surfaces and objects in the <br /> procedure area including but not limited to tables, countertops, and trays. <br /> Practitioner shall immediately clean and disinfect all solid surface areas, and <br /> objects that have come in contact with the client. Areas shall be decontaminated <br /> with an application of a disinfectant per manufacturer's directions and discarded. <br /> (2) Workstation chairs/stools: While wearing gloves all workstations chairs and <br /> stools, are to be immediately decontaminated after each use using a disinfectant <br /> per manufactures directions, and wastes generated are discarded. <br /> (3) Trays: While wearing protective gloves, all workstation trays are to be <br /> immediately decontaminated after each use using a disinfectant per <br /> manufactures directions and wastes generated are discarded. <br /> (4) Armrests: While wearing gloves, the workstation armrests are to be immediately <br /> decontaminated after each use using a disinfectant per manufactures directions <br /> and wastes generated are discarded. <br /> (5) Headrests: While wearing protective gloves, the headrests in the workstation <br /> shall be immediately decontaminated after each use using a disinfectant per <br /> manufactures directions. <br />
