SAFETY MANAGEMENT OGRAM POLICY/PROCEDURE AUAL <br />TITLE: HAZARDOUS WASTE CONTINGENCY PLAN <br />PAGE 8 OF 14 <br />Department of Fish and Game (916) 445-0045 <br />After 5:00 p.m.: (916) 445-0045 <br />In the event a hazardous waste spill should get into the storm drains, <br />immediate action shall be taken to stop further contamination. The local <br />water district and the local Department of Fish and Game shall be notified <br />immediately for corrective action: <br />In the event hazardous waste should spill onto the ground or we should <br />have an underground tank leak, immediate action shall be taken to stop <br />further contamination. Stockton Public Utilities, Water Department, and <br />the local EPA office shall be notified immediately for corrective action. It <br />may become necessary to contract with an outside hazardous materials <br />team to aid in soil containment. <br />Clean up of hazardous materials spills. <br />Procedures for clean up are to be followed as indicated in the Kaiser Permanente <br />Medical Care Program - Safety Management plan, emergency spill response <br />Radiation Accidents <br />Procedures for Radiation accidents are to be followed as indicated in the Kaiser <br />Permanente Medical Care Program - Safety Management plan, Radiation <br />Accident Disaster Plan. <br />Fire or Explosions <br />Procedures for fire are to be followed as indicated in the Kaiser Permanente <br />Medical Care Program - Safety Management Plan under the Emergency <br />Preparedness Management Plan including: Discovery of a Fire and Response to <br />the Alarm, Extended Evacuation <br />Procedures for explosions are to be followed as indicated in the Kaiser <br />Permanente Medical Care Program - Safety Management Plan under the Safety <br />Management Plan including Code Phoenix. <br />Fresno Revision dates: 09/12/96, 6/25/98, 3/30/00, 8/l/01,Stockton revision date 07/22/02, <br />09/19/02, 3/20/03,02/12/04, 07/06 <br />
