<br />.L: ... <br />GE <br />BAG CamPANY <br />January 1, 2002 <br />Re: Printed Biohazard Bag Certification of DOT Requirements <br />Dear Customer; <br />Heritage Bag Company 1.3 mil through 3.0 mil printed infectious waste bags meet or exceed the <br />U.S. Department of _Transportation regulations for tear resistance following ASTM D1922 -94a <br />procedures. <br />Heritage Bag Company 1.3 mil through 3.0 mit printed infectious waste bags meet or exceed the <br />U.S. Department of Transportation regulations for impact resistance following ASTM D1709-97 <br />procedures. <br />The DOT tear performance requirement using ASTM D 1922-94a is 480 grams. <br />The DOT impact resistance requirement using ASTM D 1709-97 is 165 grams. <br />All Heritage Bag Company printed infectious waste bags (1.3 mil, and greater) meet U.S. DOT <br />requirements and the requirements of all fifty states.
