c. Onsite treatment facility description, including type of treatment utilized <br />maximum capacity, time and temperature necessary, alternate contingency plan in <br />case of equipment failure. <br />Kaiser Permanente Stockton Operates a San -I -Pak Unit, Mark VII to Stearn <br />Sterilize medical waste. <br />The temperature is monitor 24 hours a day and printed in a temperature chart. The <br />chart is check daily to ensure that each load has reach 250° Fahrenheit for at least <br />one-half hour. <br />The thermometer is checked for calibration annually. <br />A biological indicator Bacillus Stearothermophilus is placed at the center of a <br />load processed under standard conditions at least monthly to confirm the <br />attainment of adequate sterilization conditions. <br />In case of equipment failure all medical waste will be hauled by Stericycle, (BFI). <br />The alternate medical waste hauler is: <br />Ramos Environmental Services, Reg.
