FLAMMABLE HAZARDS <br />For spilled flammable liquids: <br />* Evacuate personnel. <br />* Eliminate ignition sources. <br />* Provide ventilation (open windows, fans [nonsparking], etc.). <br />* Use an impervious sheet to suppress vapors. <br />* Contact local Fire Department if vapors and/or quantity is sufficient to provide the probability <br />of fire or explosion. <br />7. CORROSIVE HAZARDS <br />For acids and caustics: <br />* Chemical reactions may occur during cleanup with other chemicals, metal containers, floor tile, <br />asphalt or water. <br />* If gases are formed, evacuate ALL personnel from the area—up wind if outdoors. <br />* Notify Fire Department if gases are produced, if substance causes fire or explosion, or the <br />quantity of spill exceeds capacity to clean up. <br />8.
