When Infectious waste is collected the Linen Janitor or
staff on duty will be paged to do a pick-up from specific
area's in the appropriate marked cans.
4. All cans or boxes will have a lid and will have labels on
on both the top and the side that can be clearly lead.
5. After the load has been sterilized you are required to check
every bag and the graph prior to unloading the waste into
the dumpster as all other trash. If the load doesn't meet
all the criteria you must run the load again.
10. Use the protectant gloves for the hot bags and always hold
the bags away from your body. Follow the procedures for
loading and unloading the sterilizer very closely to prevent
any injuries or cross contamination.
11.
