HUNTINGTONOALITY <br />PRODUCTS, QUALITY <br />Adenovirus Type 2 <br />causes numerous types of infections in man. <br />TOR was tested in <br />dilution with hard water. This test confirms that TOR is still effective as a sanitizer <br />even when in water containing 400 ppm hardness. <br />PRODUCT: <br />TOR germicidal detergent <br />TEST METHOD: <br />A.O.A.C. Germicidal and Detergent Sanitizers Method <br />RESULTS: <br />Inoculum Average <br />especially pneumonia; also infant diarrhea. <br />Dilution Hard Water Test Organism Number Plate Count % Reduction <br />slightly pathogenic. A member of the coliform bacteria that <br />1:64 300 ppm E. coli 10 x 104 0 99.999%Q <br />lives in the intestines of man. <br />1:64 350 ppm E. coli 10 x 104 0 99.999% <br />causes certain pneumonias. Also a secondary invader in other <br />1:64 400 ppm E. coli 10 x 109 0 99.999% <br />CONCLUSIONS: <br />TOR is an effective sanitizer at dilution of 1:64 in waters containing 400 ppm <br />causes inflammation of the gall bladder, urinary bladder and the <br />hardness. <br />TOR IS ABROAD -SPECTRUM GERMICIDE <br />TOR was tested against all of the microorganisms listed below. TOR was effective against each of the <br />organisms at the highly economical dilution of 1:64. <br />ORGANISM TYPE <br />Influenza A2/Hong Kong causes the acute infectious disease, influenza or grippe. <br />Herpes Simplex causes fever blisters and other infections. <br />Vaccinia a pox virus used for vaccination of man for immunity against <br />61 <br />small pox. <br />Adenovirus Type 2 <br />causes numerous types of infections in man. <br />Staphylococcus aureus <br />causes numerous pus forming infections such as boils, ear and <br />throat infections, pneumonia, meningitis, wound infections and <br />many others. <br />Pseudomonas aeruginosa <br />pathogenic germ that causes blood, skin and throat infections <br />especially pneumonia; also infant diarrhea. <br />Enterobacter aerogenes <br />slightly pathogenic. A member of the coliform bacteria that <br />lives in the intestines of man. <br />Klebsiella pneumoniae <br />causes certain pneumonias. Also a secondary invader in other <br />respiratory infections such as bronchitis or sinusitis. <br />Escherichia coli <br />causes inflammation of the gall bladder, urinary bladder and the <br />peritoneal cavity, also infant diarrhea. <br />Salmonella choleraesuis <br />causes outbreak of paratyphoid gastroenteritis, or a typhoid like <br />fever, acute cases are often caused by food poisoning. <br />Salmonella schottmuelleri <br />causes paratyphoid fever, type B or a typhoid like fever, acute <br />cases are often caused by food poisoning. <br />Proteus mirabilis <br />causes infections of the eye and ear, pleuritis and peritonitis <br />and pus forming abscesses in many parts of the body; also <br />infant diarrhea. <br />Streptococcus faecalis <br />encountered in urinary infections, subacute endocarditis, also <br />associated with mild outbreaks of food poisoning. <br />Shigella dysenteriae <br />causes dysentery in man. <br />Brevibacterium ammonlagenes <br />forms ammonia from urea. <br />61 <br />
