2/12/2020 <br />P -List Medications <br />P -listed pharmaceuticals are considered acutely hazardous materials. <br />EPA requires residue be captured from these items similar to that of <br />Chemotherapy <br />• Place Leftover Medication and/or Packaging that came in direct contact <br />with the drug in a zip lock bag, then in the RCRA container <br />• Examples of P -listed material: - - <br />• Coumadin — dropped pills, refused pills, blister packs and wrappers <br />• Nicotine — patches, patch packaging, unused gum ------ <br />and blister packs <br />• Physostigmine — unused or empty ampoules <br />E:3 <br />
