Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 PERMITAMICES <br /> Mr. Miller, <br /> Thank you again for your help in identifying some problem areas in <br /> Arbor Convalescent Hospital's Infection Control Procedures and Policies. <br /> We have completed all areas of the inspection that was found to be in <br /> violation. <br /> 1 . The in-house containers are properly identified with the <br /> words "Infectious Waste" and the Biohazard International <br /> Symbol. Both of these are readily visible on the lid and <br /> sides of each container. <br /> 2. The outside storage area is properly identified as hazardous <br /> waste in both English and Spanish. <br /> 3. Containers containing Infectious Linen are identified with <br /> the words "Infectious Linen". Procedures for handling <br /> Infectious Linens are posted in the laundry room for employees <br /> to follow.. Two sales representatives are presently looking <br /> for the water soluable bags you recommended for the handling <br /> of infectious materials. <br /> 4. A certification for the strength.of our Infectious Waste <br /> Bags had been received. They meet and exceed the 165 gram <br /> Dart Test. <br /> 5. A weekly pick-up of Infectious Waste is currently being <br /> accomplished. <br />
