Again seal with tape <br /> mark Nfl W and discard into garbage. <br /> STOOL <br /> The patient may share a bathroom with others if he is cooperative. <br /> Instruction the patient in proper handwashing, and provide the patient <br /> with an individual roll of `toilet paper. Feces can be flushed down <br /> the toilet. When handling bedpans containing stool , or when cleaning <br /> an incontinent patient, the staff meinber should wear disposable gloves. <br /> DISPOSABLE FOD SERVICE <br /> Notify the Dietary Dept. daily of the need for disposable food <br /> service. Left overliquidsshall be disposed of in the patient's <br /> commode (jello and ice-cream included). All remaining food, together <br /> with the disposable tray and dishes shall be discareded intoa plastic <br /> .bag, sealed with tape, double-baggedin another plastic bag and sealed. <br /> Mark "CONTAMINATED" and discard int.. garbage. <br /> LINEN <br /> Soiled linen should be placed in a disolvable plastic bag, tied <br /> with self-tie, then placed in red_, isolation bags. Wash <br /> this linen separately. <br />
