Put on protective clothing such as gowns and gloves . <br /> 6. Determine the most effective and least hazardous <br /> approach to clean up and decontamination. Cover <br /> area with paper towels and soak with 1% amphyl if <br /> Infectious materials and 10% bleach if body fluids . <br /> Let sit 20 minutes before removal . <br /> D. Removal of Infectious Waste <br /> 1 . Bio Cal Medical Group will contract with a county <br /> approved vendor for removal of infectious waste. <br /> Infectious waste will be removed from the locked <br /> storage area by the contractor twice per week. No <br /> infectious waste will be removed that does not meet <br /> containment and storage requirements of this <br /> procedure. <br /> .2. The contractor will assume liability for the <br /> infectious waste after it has left the premises . <br /> E.
