This may include employees or <br /> officers of the Company as well as agents or representatives of non-Company locations that <br /> conduct business on the Company's behalf. <br /> Coroner <br /> A public officer whose primary function is to investigate any death thought to be of other than <br /> natural causes(see also Medical Examiner). <br /> Cremated Remains <br /> The remains of a human body after cremation, consisting of ash and bone fragments. <br /> Cremation <br /> A process that reduces the body (and associated wrappings and container) to ash and bone <br /> fragments. <br /> Cremation Container <br /> Container in which the body and wrappings are delivered to the crematory to be cremated in total. <br /> The container must conform to the following guidelines: <br /> • Composed of a suitable combustible material <br /> • Rigid enough for handling ease <br /> • Assures protection of the health and safety of the operator <br /> • Provides proper covering of the body <br /> • Consistent with our goal of handling remains with respect and dignity <br /> Crematory or Crematorium <br /> The building that houses the cremator and associated equipment and offices that support cremation <br /> activities. <br /> Decedent <br /> Human remains, as in any dead human body, including any human tissues, medical cadavers, <br /> fetuses or stillborns. <br /> Defibrillator <br /> A mechanical device implanted in a person to provide an electric shock to the heart during a heart <br /> attack. <br /> Designated locked,secure area <br /> An area in a Company location that is out of view of the public with access restricted to <br /> Company associates and which is capable of being locked when valuables are secured <br /> inside, and which is used only for securing decedent personal effects.
