One time connection fees as required by City <br /> policy will be paid. Monthly service charges are <br /> periodically adopted by the City Council to <br /> recover the cost to treat liquid waste. <br /> Mr . Cox has indicated that waste water lines are <br /> in place and can accommodate projected flows. The <br /> treatment plant has adequate capacity and will <br /> monitor water quality from all sources . The <br /> proposed hospital and medical office buildings <br /> will not cause a significant impact to the City ' s <br /> water and sewer systems. <br /> 8. Stormwater <br /> The site is not located within the identified 100 <br /> year flood prone area as shown on the City general <br /> plan (Figure 7) . Kaiser will submit a master <br /> drainage plan consistent with City requirements . <br /> Mr . Cox has indicated that existing stormwater <br /> facilities are adequate to handle winter flows. <br /> Kaiser will be required to design and construct <br /> the internal storm drainage system with connec- <br /> tion(s) to the planned Master Stormewater Drainage <br /> System. Typically, specifications will incor- <br /> porate provisions to mitigate short term impacts <br /> during construction. Final plans and specifica- <br /> tions will conform to the City' s design require- <br /> ments. <br /> 9. Gas and Electricity <br /> Pacific Gas and Electric will serve the hospital. <br /> Extension of gas and electric lines will be the <br /> responsibility of Kaiser hospital. Kaiser intends <br /> to incorporate all feasible energy saving devices <br /> encouraged and required by regulatory agencies <br /> within their site and construction plans. <br /> 10. Telephone <br /> Telephone service will be provided by the Pacific <br /> Bell Company. <br /> Extension of telephone lines to the project will <br /> occur in conjunction with the installation of <br /> other private utility facilities and public <br /> improvements. <br /> 17 <br />
