I INTRODUCTION
The Kaiser Permanente Medical Care program is proposing a
200 bed hospital and 180 doctor medical office building (MOB) for
a 25 acre site in northern Stockton , California. This Insti-
tutional Master Plan is prepared in support of a use permit
application for the facility and contains a project description
and construction/phasing plan. The master plan will be submitted
in conjunction with the use permit application, a parcel map, and
an Expanded Initial Study/Negative Declaration.
Kaiser Permanente currently occupies leased office space at
the northeast corner of Tommydon Street and Kathleen Drive
directly north of the proposed site. This office building will
not be a part of the final hospital complex, but rather its use
will be phased out as facilities are completed on the new site.
The existing office building is thus not included in the Insti-
tutional Master Plan.
B-3
