NS'G <br />Procedure <br />L r <br />Document Number: 909 R 5003 <br />Rev: 13 Date: 6/10/13 <br />EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br />The Plant Manager serves as the executive officer and communicates pertinent information <br />to corporate management. <br />The EHS Manager report directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the health <br />and safety of all employees. The EHS Manager serves as a member of the facility's <br />incident command team. Responsibilities include management of the facility compliance <br />with environmental, health and safety regulations which includes the management of <br />hazardous materials and waste. The EHS Manager also serves as the facility's hazardous <br />material incident commander for emergencies related to the release of hazardous <br />chemicals / hazardous wastes4 If necessary, the EHS Manager may request assistance <br />from the Office of Environmental Affairs located at the corporate headquarters in Toledo, <br />Ohio. <br />The Area Managers report directly to the Plant Manager and have direct responsibility for <br />production, engineering projects and facility maintenance. The Area Managers shall <br />provide technical assistance and coordinate use of materials/equipment necessary for <br />response, as well as trained personnel to assist with incident control. <br />The lead Security Officer is responsible for overall plant security and reports to the Human <br />Resource Manager. In addition, the security officer is responsible for the general <br />movement of traffic and for notifying the fire department, police, and paramedics that <br />assistance is needed. <br />The Human Resource Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for issues <br />related to personnel. <br />Other personnel may be added to the team as the situation warrants. <br />Manufacturing Operations <br />To facilitate an understanding of the various manufacturing operations, a description of the <br />main operating departments follows, along with pertinent information regarding the use and <br />storage of hazardous materials. <br />H:\profile\My Documents\500 E. louise ave (CIA LOF)\9-25-13\909R5003 Emergency Response Procedures.doc <br />Page 4 of 67 <br />Paper Copies are Not Controlled unless stamped in RED "Controlled Document'.
