The materials are <br />caustic in nature and quite fine. Releases are to be addressed by: <br />• wearing appropriate PPE <br />• use a water mist to control dust <br />• shovel and/or use vacuum to put into alternative container <br />If the release is a direct response to the over turning of a rail car, then Union Pacific <br />should be notified (800-272-8777). <br />The rail spur used by Pilkington also serves Carpenter. Carpenter receives several <br />solvent type materials via rail tank cars.
