Document Number: 909 R 5003 <br />Procedure Rev: 12 Date: 1/22/13 <br />EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br />Secondary Storage Areas <br />Lehr Lube Storage Area <br />Drums and pales of petroleum based products are stored here for use in and around <br />the lehr. Generally, inventory is limited to that actually needed. Approximately, eight <br />55 gallon drums of different materials are in use along with several lubricants that are <br />in either 5 gallon pales or small kegs. A satellite collection point for waste oil and oily <br />waste solids are located here. <br />Maintenance Shop and Satellite Maintenance Cages <br />The facility has one main maintenance shop and several smaller satellite shops. The <br />main shop generally has one to six 55 gallon drums of petroleum based product as <br />well as smaller quantities of other materials associated with the maintenance of a <br />manufacturing facility. <br />The satellite shops serve specific areas of the facility. Small quantities of petroleum <br />based products may be stored in these locations. The satellite locations generally <br />have several one and five gallon containers or kegs of product. A majority of the shops <br />have Safety-Kleen solvent based parts washers. <br />Main Storeroom <br />The main storeroom is located within the main facility, just behind the general offices. <br />Materials generally stored within this storeroom, aerosol cans of maintenance <br />products, small containers (half gallon, paints) of petroleum based products. <br />Water Treatment Chemicals storage building: <br />This facility is located by the East Cooling tower / Marley tower, and serves as the <br />storage area for chemicals that are used for water treatment.
