Document Number: 909 R 5003 <br />GROUP <br />Procedure Rev: 12 Date: 1/22/13 <br />EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br />EXCEPTION: If in shipping areas the greater danger rests with collapsing stoces. If <br />in a vehicle in shipping seek an area free of stoces, if this cannot be found exit the <br />building in your vehicle. If on foot, seek shelter against the wall behind the <br />bookends. <br />IF IN A MOVING VEHICLE <br />1. Stop quickly and stay in the vehicle. <br />2. If outside, move to a clear area away from buildings and utility wires. <br />3. Once the shaking has stopped, proceed with caution. <br />4. The greatest danger exists directly outside buildings, at exists and alongside <br />exterior walls. <br />5. Ground movement during an earthquake is seldom the direct cause of death or <br />injury. Most earthquake -related casualties result from collapsing walls, flying glass, <br />and falling objects. <br />WHAT HAPPENS <br />Following the earthquake assemble at the guard shack only. Assembly at the two <br />secondary assemble areas (under the water tanks) is not recommended as their <br />structural integrity cannot be confirmed.
