N■Irs Procedure 11 Document Number: 909 R 5003 Rev: 12 Date: 1/22/13 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES Procedures Upon The Discovery Of A Suspected Bomb IF ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS IS SEEN, `DO NOT TOUCH' REPORT IT TO SECURITY! • Notify Security at extension "6292" of the situation. Try to give as much information about the incident/discovery as possible. • Security should then make contact (by phone) to the following parties: 1. Emergency Services (Police/Bomb Squad) 2. Plant Manager 3. Human Resources Director 4. All other individuals on the Emergency Call -In Sheet • The Plant Manager/Shift Manager will coordinate response activities that should include evacuation of the facility, unless there is reason to believe evacuation may present a danger to employees. A headcount of employees and visitors should be performed. • Once Emergency Services (Police/Bomb Squad) has arrived on -scene, all authority of response coordination shall be delegated to the appropriate Emergency Services Commander. The Plant Manager/Shift Manager shall notify the Emergency Services Agencies of any missing/unaccounted for employees or visitors. • When the bomb is removed or defused and the Emergency Services Agencies have designated the facility safe to resume operations, the Plant Manager/Shift Manager shall notify Security. • Security shall give the signal to re-enter the facility buildings and resume normal operations. • SECURITY shall complete an Incident Reporting Form, if one has not been yet completed.
