KLEINFELDER <br /> A maximum of eight soil samples will be analyzed for: <br /> 0 Volatile Organic compounds-by EPA Method 8.240 <br /> 0 Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 418.1. <br /> a Metal by ICRP(EPA Method 6010). <br /> 0 Mercury.,Arsenic,and Selenium by AA. <br /> If a seep is found and sampled, the -sample will be_ analyzed for Volatile Organic <br /> Compounds by EPA 'Methods 601 and 602, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA <br /> Method 418.1,metals by EPA Method 6010,and arsenic,:selemum,and mercury by AA. <br /> 3.2 GROUNDWATER ASSESSMENT <br /> A monitoring well will be installed to assess the potential for con "nation in the ground <br /> water under the landfill. The well will be installed in the.area most likely to have a high <br /> concentration of waste,based on previous investigations. <br /> Drillin <br /> One well will be installed in soil boring B-1 (described in Section 3.1, shown on Plate 2). <br /> The boring will first be advanced to a total depth of approximately 10 feet below first <br /> encountered ground water. <br /> Well Installation <br /> The well will be installed as follows: <br /> 1.
