Lodi City Landfill November 16,2011
• North of Awani Drive, Lodi, California Project No. 104690061
11.6. Air Monitoring
Ambient air monitoring will not be required for this project. Personal air monitor-
ing/sampling will be conducted to document that workers in the immediate vicinity of the
LFG well drilling, sampling and construction and trench excavation activities are not ex-
posed to concentrations of constituents of potential concern exceeding the action levels as
indicated in the SHSP.
12. DOCUMENTATION
The following sections describe documentation procedures to be conducted during the site
investigation.
12.1. Sample Handling-LFG Monitoring Wells and Exploratory Trenches
Each sampling sleeve and glass jar will be immediately labeled to ensure proper identification
• for tracking by the analytical testing laboratory. Each sample will be labeled with the boring or
trench identification number, sample depth, date, and time the sample was collected, and pro-
ject location and number. Information for each sample will also be recorded on the chain-of-
custody(COC) form at the time the sample is collected and include sample identification num-
ber, matrix, date and time of collection, number and type of containers, analytical methods to be
performed on the sample, and laboratory turn-around time. The individual sample sleeves or jars
will be placed into zip-lock plastic bags labeled with the sample location.
Samples will be placed into coolers containing ice and delivered to or picked up by the State
of California certified, fixed-base analytical testing laboratory, as soon as practicable, usually
within 24 hours of collection. COC documentation will record the description, possession,
condition,and transfer of samples.
•
10469MI RfinW.doc 31 Ninyo 4 Moore
