8h., %/62 <br /> Contractor agrees to furnish and maintain at its own <br /> cost and expense, adequate fire fighting equipment and immediately <br /> extinguish all fires occuring at the Site. All employees of <br /> Contractor shall be trained in fire fighting procedures and <br /> shall, be instructed in the operation of the fire fighting equipment. <br /> The amount of the fire fighting equipment and its <br /> capacity shall be approved by the Fire Marshal of the City of <br /> Stockton. <br /> Special permits for the burning of material on said <br /> Site may be issued by the City Manager or Acting City Manager, <br /> upon recommendation of the Fire Marshal and upon the application <br /> of the Contractor. <br /> 12. Contractor reserves the right to refuse to ac- <br /> cept the following: <br /> a. From all sources: <br /> 1. Explosive material. <br /> 2. Highly inflammable material. <br /> 3. Material dangerous to life or limb or in- <br /> jurious to facility equipment or operations. <br /> 4. Materials too large or too bulky for facility <br /> equipment or operations, as defined in items b. <br /> (L 2) belmAr. <br /> 5. Smoldering or burning material. <br /> b. From City or City's Contractual Agents: <br /> 1. Single pieces or items of material over 100 <br /> pounds in weight. <br /> 2. Single pieces or items of material over five <br /> (5) feet in any one dimension. <br /> 13. contractor shall clean and care for all refuse <br /> dumping areas so as to prevent obnoxious odors, unsanitary con- <br /> ditions or unsightly appearances on the Site.
