8/30/62 <br /> (d) Contractor agrees to allow City to make <br /> deliveries after 5:00 O'clock p.m. providing Contractor is noti- <br /> fied four (4) hours in advance of said deliveries. <br /> 9. Supervision and coordination of the disposal and <br /> collection operations will be the responsibility of the City of <br /> Stockton through the Superintendent of Streets who shall specify <br /> the size and type of trenches, compaction of waste matter prior <br /> to covering and the amount of cover. Said Superintendent or his <br /> agents may make periodic inspections to enforce strict adherence <br /> of all safety and health regulations. <br /> 10. All waste material delivered to the disposal Site <br /> shall be disposed of and covered daily at the close of each days <br /> operation using only ths- "trench and fill" zisthcd. 7' -. P.t h.rX I J.s <br /> As follows: <br /> A f---h is t)-,--n In-.3roxivately twelve <br /> (12) feet deep but not below ground water level and of a <br /> practicable width and length to be determined by Contractor <br /> and approved by the Superintendent of Streets. <br /> In said trench, waste matter shall be deposited and <br /> compacted to a high degree leaving T-o voids and shall be covered <br /> with a firm, compacted layer of earth of at least one (1) foot <br /> in thickness. The final or top cover of earth shall be at least <br /> four (4) feet in thickness and leveled to a new grade established <br /> by the Superintendent of Streets which will have a tolerance of <br /> six (6) inches and shall not exceed the height of the adjacent <br /> existing levees. <br /> It is agreed that no more than eighty (80) percent of <br /> the area of the real property hereinbefore more particularly <br /> described shall be used for cut and fill operations. <br /> . 11. Contractor agrees not to burn or permit burning <br /> upon the Site. <br /> -4- <br />
