2. Traffic and circulation (estimated number of trips and peak hour trips): <br />construction phase approximately 12 trip ends per day. <br />Operational phase approximately 2trip ends per day except for an annual <br />maintenance program of one week duration which will involve approximately 6 trip <br />3. Noise: ends per day. - <br />a. Noise sensitive uses: Is property within 60dBA or greater contour <br />as defined by COS Noise Element Contour Maps? <br />RVF <br />b. Noise generating uses: <br />1. What are anticipated noise levels of project at property line? <br />94.5 dBA (without a building enclosure). The engine unit will be enclosed <br />by a Soule type metal building which will be insulated with fiberglas <br />Is <br />The engine will be equipped with a catalytic silencer. <br />2. Is noise generated by use anticipated to significantly raise <br />ambient level in area? No. There are'no inhabited facilities within <br />sight of project area. The noise level anticipated -from the project <br />will not exceed the level generated by tractors associated with the <br />surrounding agricultural activities. <br />4. Air Quality: <br />a. Will the project contribute significant amounts of air pollutants such <br />as dust, smoke or odors? If so,specify. (See attached Appendix "C", Application <br />NOx. CO NHHC for Authority to.construct and Permit <br />63.5 lbs./day- 318 lbs/day 19 lbr;../day to Operate, filed with San Joaquin <br />County Air Pollution Control District) <br />b. Will the project generate significant amounts of air pollutants due to <br />motor vehicle usage? If so,specify. <br />EM <br />S. Will the project contribute to the loss of viable agricultural lands or <br />interfere with agricultural operations?, <br />No. <br />/8.1 Governmental bodies or.departments having discretionary approval or authority <br />over the project and the type of permit or approval required by each body. <br />(a) San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District Authority to Construct and <br />Permit to'Operate. (see- at;ached Appendix "C"), (b) City of Stockton Location & <br />Development Plan, (c) San Joaquin -County Planning Dept. Location & Development <br />Plan, and (d) San Joaquin Local Health District -Extraction Well Permit. <br />Mrm <br />9. Any other impacts or comments regarding the environmental effect of this <br />proj ect. <br />This is a qualifying Facility Small Power Producer project which will help to <br />reduce the consumption of non-renewable fossil fuels. <br />-4- <br />
