Box 30356 <br /> Stockton CA 95213 <br /> COMPLIANCE WITH FIRE SAFETY <br /> We have observed that there are as many as six (6) piles of wood waste <br /> stores at the two acres lease site at the Austin Road Landfill . Also, <br /> there is no loader on the site as specified in the lease agreement . <br /> I would like to call your attention to the COMPLIANCE WITH FIRE SAFETY <br /> section of the agreement which specifies that " . . .wood waste shall be <br /> restricted to a maximum of two (2) piles not to exceed thirty (30) feet <br /> in width by thirty (30) feet in length by fifteen (15) feet in height. <br /> Each pile shall be surrounded by a service road a minimum of twenty (20) <br /> feet in width. At all times when wood or wood waste is stored at ground <br /> level , Falcon Energy Associates shall maintain a loader on site in <br /> operational condition. . . " <br /> As indicated to you in my letter of August 14 , 1989 , any change of <br /> condition in the lease agreement must be submitted to the California <br /> Waste Management Board and the San Joaquin County Local Health District <br /> for their review and approval . <br /> The City Attorney' s office has instructed us that a new agreement must <br /> be submitted to the City Council for its approval when the current lease <br /> agreement expires . <br /> Your immediate response and compliance with the agreement is requested. <br /> If there is no action on your part by September 11 , 1989 , the City will <br /> consider hiring a contractor to have it removed and bill you for the <br /> cost involved. <br /> JAMES B.
