A position that can be supported by the
San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health
Division.
Alternative #2 - Increase height to 150 feet A.G.L. and maintain base
acreage of 120 acres.
Alternative #3 - Increase height to 150 feet A.G.L. and increase base
acreage to 165 acres by adding the "back 4511 to the landfill with a
partial relocation of Little John Creek.
Alternative #4 - Increase height of landfill to 150 feet A.G.L. and
increase base acreage to 165 acres.
Alternative 15 - Increase height of landfill to 150 feet A.G.L. and
increase base acreage to 260 acres and relocate Little Johns Creek to
the northwest.
Alternative #6 - Increase height of landfill to 150 feet A.G.L. ,
increase base acreage to 385 acres and relocate Little Johns Creek to
the southeast.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division cannot support alternatives 12 - 16, due to existing ground
water contamination below the landfill. An increase in the landfill
height will increase the amount of leachate and endanger nearby
agricultural and drinking water wells.
If you have any questions, please contact Ed Padilla at (209) 468-3400.
red Kauf n
Program nager
Environmental Health Division
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
a
