The Austin Road Landfill is located on Austin Road, seven miles <br />southeast of the City of Stockton in Section 3, T1 -S, R7E, MB & B. The <br />City of Stockton is the owner of the facility and the legal operator. The <br />contract operator is Gambi Enterprises, Inc. <br />B. The Austin Road landfill is located on 180 acres and is a Class III landfill. <br />See appendix A. The facility is permitted for 180 acres. 135 acres <br />north of the Little Johns Creek is currently being utilized. The 45 acre <br />area south of the Little John Creek may be utilized as a landfill area in <br />the future. Landfilling of this area would require a permit revision. <br />C. The facility has a scale, scale house, office trailer, and landfill gas <br />collection system and power plant operated by Pacific Lighting Energy <br />Systems Inc. <br />D. The landfill has a peak daily load of 1200 tons. The landfill has an <br />average daily load of 700 tons per day. <br />F. The landfill operation is the area method.
