As stated on page A-3 the landfill is <br /> located within 10, 000 feet of the end of the Airport runway. The <br /> Department believes that the proposed expansion is in violation <br /> of Federal Aviation Authority Legislations and could result in <br /> loss of FAA Funds to the Airport. <br /> It is stated in your initial study the purpose of your document <br /> is to determine whether or not this project creates any <br /> significant adverse environmental impact on the surrounding area, <br /> .or community as a whole. As stated above we feel this project <br /> may create an adverse impact on the community. Therefore, it is <br /> requested that you address our concerns as well as the methods of <br /> mitigation.
