COMMENTS: <br /> Forward, Inc. is in the process of buying the landfill from the City of Stockton. Forward,Inc.will be the new owner and operator <br /> of the landfill. The date of the anticipated transfer is 3/31/00 or when the sale closes. <br /> Once the sale is complete,the Board will no longer be the EA for the landfill. EA duties will revert to the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services. <br /> The anticipated owner/operator indicated that he would be sending the required financial assurance and operator liability <br /> information directly to you(on or around 2/23/00). <br /> In accordance with 27 CCR the review is to be completed within 20 days of receipt of the notification. The 20 days will be based <br /> on the day that you receive the aforementioned information from the anticipated owner/operator. I also included a copy of the <br /> anticipated owner/operator's transfer notice. <br /> I believe Forward, Inc.currently owns one landfill,Forward Landfill,and will be acquiring two more landfills,the Austin Road <br /> Landfill and the French Camp Landfill,for a total of 3 landfills. <br />
