SECTION 3-ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING Pape 3-2 gradient monitoring wells. The expanded landfill will require additional monitoring wells. Use of previously drilled background and monitoring wells will continue. Up to seven new monitoring wells will be added approximately where shown on the Final Grading Plan, Drawing P1. The new wells will be installed prior to operation of Phase I of the expansion area. The new wells will be finished in the same aquifer currently monitored. The exact location of the wells should be done under the guidance of a hydrogeologist.
