f AUSTIN ROAD LANDFILL EXPANSION REPORT OF DISPOSAL SITE INFORMATION (RDSI)MATRIX RDSI SECTION REG. CITATION RESPONSE REFERENCE I. FACILITY OVERVIEW I.A. INTRODUCTION This Report of Disposal Site Information describes the design and operation of the Austin Road Landfill Horizontal and Vertical Landfill Expansion (LF-2 and LF-3)which will be operated under permits issued to the City of Stockton. Actual day-today operation of the site will be conducted by private operator under contract to the City. The proposed project will be a Class III facility as defined by 23 CCR Sections 2530-2533. The proposed project is located on four complete parcels and a portion of a fifth parcel. The City currently owns three of the parcels, the existing landfill site (LF-1) of approximately 138 acres, an existing 45-acre borrow site located in the Phase I and II areas, and the 126-acre proposed borrow site to the north of the existing landfill. The City has also acquired two additional properties: an 85-acre parcel currently referred to as the Brocchini property (APN 201-060-02), proposed location for Phases III and IV; and an 11-acre portion of the California Youth Authority (CYA) parcel located in the northwest comer of the proposed site which will be adjacent to the proposed future soil borrow area. SITE LOCATION Site Map: The Austin Road Landfill is located at Latitude 370 52' 94° and See Drawing G-2, 14 CCR 18222(d) Longitude 1210 52' 59° in Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 7 Appendix B East, M.D.B.&M. The borrow area,just north of the existing landfill, is in Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 7 East, M.D.B.&M. The landfill expansion areas will be under the jurisdiction of the City of Stockton.
