Volume Reduction and 14 CCR 17688 No volume reduction or energy recovery operations are proposed. <br /> Energy Recovery 14 CCR 17689 <br /> V.F. HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> V.F.1. Sanitary Facilities 14 CCR 17666 Four portable toilets equipped with hand-washing units are currently <br /> used on site. Capacity is sufficient for ten people for a normal five- <br /> day week. Portable toilets are located at the scale house, near the <br /> active fill area, and at other common work areas. <br /> V.F.1. Potable Water Supply 14 CCR 17667 Three water bottled coolers are currently used on-site. These units <br /> are regularly serviced by the vendor. No on-site wells are used for <br /> potable water. <br /> V.F.3. Communications 14 CCR 17668 During working hours, all employees and supervisors carry Motorola <br /> MTX 8000 radios connected to a repeater. These radios have a 60- <br /> mile range. In addition, all supervisors cant' cellular phones. <br /> Operators are to report any emergency immediately. There is a site <br /> supervisor on the property at all times. <br /> V.F.4. Lighting 14 CCR 17669 During working hours which take place prior to daylight, a portable <br /> system of Maxi Lites is employed. The system is a 5,000-watt <br /> lighting system capable of lighting an area the equivalent size of a <br /> football field. The lighting trailer is brought out to the site area that is <br /> currently being worked on and used until there is sufficient natural <br /> lighting available. <br /> R.W.
