Furthermore,this project is categorically exempt from CEQA compliance under CCR Section 15301. Staff Analysis Staff have reviewed the proposed permit and the above documentation and have found that the proposed permit package has met the requirements of California Code of Regulations, Title 27 and/or Title 14 and is acceptable for the Board's consideration of concurrence. The Contra Costa County Health Services Department(LEA)has determined that this project is categorically exempt from CEQA compliance under CCR Section 15301 for purposes of their SWFP approval. Using information supplied by the LEA, ERS staff have prepared a Preliminary Study for this proposed project, and are of the opinion that the proposed changes constitute the continued operation of an existing facility involving no expansion of use beyond that previously existing. For these reasons ERS staff recommend the exemption of this proposed project under the categorical exemption described in CEQA Guidelines, CCR Section 15301.
