Wood Bros. hauled material from soil borrow area A to the 4th bay for the 2nd lift after <br />they had reworked the Is' lift utilizing the D9 dozer and 3-631 scrapers. Wood Bros, hauled material to the <br />6th bay for the 1 st lift. Wood brothers continued to utilize 2- water trucks, the D6 with disc, the grader and the <br />tractor with scraper box to moisture condition the foundation layer material prior to compaction. Wood Bros. <br />continued to utilize the 825 to compact the lower portion with the scrapers wheel rolling the surface. Wood <br />bros. had the D5CXL dozer and water truck moisture conditioning and processing the soil material on the <br />slopes. 0 <br />wells SG#9-SG#6-SG#10. Krazan started drilling SG#lbut did not complete it. <br />Krazan/Soil Probe installed 3 g p <br />Krazan placed 10' of pea gravel then set probe then placed pea gravel to within 5' of surface and placed a 6" <br />slurry of bentonite plug. Mark Edwards turned in drill logs to CQA. Ted Tasiopoulos from Enviromental <br />health on site to watch soil gas well installation. <br />Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA observed reworking of the 4th bay 1" lift. CQA observed placement and tested <br />compaction of foundation layer material reworked in the 4th bay and the 5h bay off the north slope of Module <br />1. CQA performed several density tests with all tests meeting the required specifications. <br />Vector discussed with Wood bros. CQA explained to Tony the material from the borrow area is the same as on the floor and thus the same <br />process should be used in breaking up of the clods. CQA explained to Tony that the western slope has large rocks not meeting the %" <br />requirements for this project.
