Wood Bros. had laborers and the smooth drum roller preparing <br />the northern slope for liner installation. Wood Bros. utilized the backhoe to excavate the soil gas system <br />where the trencher did not get. Wood Bros. continued to weld and place the 4" perforated pipe for the soil <br />gas system. Wood Bros. utilized the Case tractor to remove foundation layer material that was over built. <br />Wood Bros continued to excavate and compact the V ditches on the floor of Module 1. <br />Surveyors Group set staking for the southern V ditches and rechecked grade on the foundation layer material.* <br />Industrial fence augured fence postholes utilizing the Bobcat with auger. <br />D&E cut samples from GCL for L.S.D.S. testing @ Vector engineering and Precision. <br />Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA attended the weekly construction meeting. CQA observed processing, <br />compaction and tested compaction of the foundation layer and subgrade materials. CQA performed several <br />density tests with all tests meeting the required specifications. CQA observed pipe welding, geotextile <br />placement and backfill of the soil gas system with 3/8" pea gravel <br />Vector discussed with Wood bros. D&E will start liner on Monday.
