Wood Bros. had the water truck continue to maintain moisture in the subgrade and
haul routes. Wood Bros had the leachate tank delivered to the site Friday afternoon.
Surveyors Group on site setting up control points for the county.
Tri State on site placing rebar for the leachate containment pad.
®D&E prior to installation of liner materials smooth drum rolled the subgrade. D&E continued installation of
GCL rolls with a minimum of 351bs peel and 60mi1 double textured liner. D&E continued to deploy on the
floor of Module 1. D&E installed a total of 31 panels of GCL totaling approximately 69,000ft2 and 6 panels
of geomembrane totaling approximately 68,090ft2 all panels were overlapped and seamed per specifications.
D&E continued to perform repairs on the geomembrane. D&E welded the tie-in seam first thing in the
morning so there is no excessive stress on the liner. DE placed sandbags as ballast on the liner edges prior
to leaving the site.
Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA observed grading and pulled a sample for testing on the LCRS drainage
aggregate imported today. CQA observed and logged subgrade acceptance, panel deployment, seaming,
repairs performed on the liner materials. CQA marked destructive samples for testing.
Vector discussed with. Wood Bros. had Granites plant manager on site to discuss how to remove / mix the pea gravel with 3% plus
fines. Wood bros is going to have Granite bring in some clean material and try to mix it with the dirty gravel then have CQA retest.
File Name: Foothill Landfill Prepared By: Frank Dell -Era Reviewed B
