NOTES (Describe work completed during the day, any problems and their solutions): Wood Brothers: 6 Man crew D&E: 10 Man crew Wood Bros. imported drainage aggregate material from Granites Tracy plant utilizing 15 transfer trucks. Wood bros continued to grade the Drainage aggregate for the LCRS system utilizing the D6LGP with a laborer watching for wrinkles. Wood Bros. excavated the anchor trench around the lysimeter on top the eastern slope utilizing the John Deere backhoe and laborers. Wood Bros welded 4" perforated pipe for the LCRS system in the 5th V ditch off the northern toe. D&E continued installation of Bentofix NWL 35 GCL rolls and 60mil double textured liner. D&E continued to deploy on the eastern floor of Module 1. D&E installed a total of 6 panels of GCL totaling approximately 14,970ft2 and 6 panels of geomembrane totaling approximately 17,092ft2 all panels were overlapped and seamed per specifications. D&E performed air tests on the tie-in seam and liner deployed 9-24/9-26. D&E placed sandbags as ballast on the liner edges prior to leaving the site. D&E completed welding a cap strip on seam 108/222 where Destructive sample 113 had failed. Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA observed placement and grading on the LCRS drainage aggregate imported today. CQA observed and logged subgrade acceptance, panel deployment, seaming, airtests, repairs and vacuum tests performed on the liner materials. CQA marked and pulled destructive samples for conformance testing. CQA marked, pulled and tested a destructive sample on the cap strip welded over seam 108/222 with passing results. CQA ran 3 sieve analysis on the drainage aggregate. 2 sieves were from the mixing of the higher fine material and the clean material with both #200 washes meeting the project specifications. Vector discussed with Wood Bros -start operations as soon as the 623 scraper is running Probably on Monday.
